This is my official entrant into the Bio-Kart Grand Prix contest hosted by the Bionicle Mocers League :iconbioniclemocersleague: on DeviantART. The contest can be seen here: [link]

The goal was to build a kart/vehicle that was reasonably passable as a kart like vehicle that had to incorporate offensive and defensive features to tackle other peoples machines on the track.

The driver of this vehicle is Trah. He belongs to an insectoid based race which come from the same area as the beasts WOIRIN. He has stump legs with 2 toes on each foot for controlling the pedals of the Bewger. His arms are his primary means of transportation outside of vehicular areas and uses them to walk on due to their length and surprising strength.
Trah has equipped himself with a backpack in emergencies and is stored at the back of his Bewger vehicle.

The Bewger is a medium weight vehicle that is built for speed and to also withstand some levels of attacks.
Lighter than most vehicles, the Bewger has the advantage of being able to gain a speed advantage over most other competitors but this does come at a price.
More speed requires les weight and armour must be sacrificed to acheive this. The most heavily armoured areas of the vehicle are the front, rear, and rear sides. This leaves the midsection open to attack.
Weight is removed from the vehicle by only having the bare frame of the roll cage as the canopy. It doesn't really provide any defense but lessens the weight slightly and provides head cover from rolls.

The Bewger is equipped with 2 machine guns and the ammo is stored on the underside of the vehicle. The ammunition used is armour piercing which means that less bullets do more damage and aren't wasted unnecessarily by shooting as many as possible. Even though they are placed either side of the cockpit, they are slightly angled in to have a more central target area.
The further away the target is, the more centralised the firepower will be.
The Bewgers machine guns are operated by a lever in the cockpit.

The Bewger is also equipped with a defensive action. Just below the armoured rear is a large oil tank which can be manually activated by switches inside the cockpit. This releases a thick spray from 2 opposite nozzles that plaster the road in oil causing other vehicles to instantly lose traction and 'skid-out', often with painful results.

As a rule of the Bio-Kart contest, each participant is given 20 stat points to distribute to different categories to set up a sort of quick bio of the vehicles:
Speed - 6
Handling - 3
Acceleration - 4
Weight - 3
Attack - 2
Defense - 2

Fenrek's View:
I loved making another vehicle, I know I'm not good at all at them but this contest was another opportunity to learn.
I even managed to include front wheel steering which can be seen on the MOCpages set up for Trah and The Bewger.
I also found it fun to put in a steering wheel and the couple of little levers and stuff in the cockpit.
Good luck to all other contenders and have fun ^^

I never did comment on this did I? Sorry about that Aaron. ^^; Well there isn't much I can say other than praise spewing drivel I like everything about this MOC. The detail, that roll cage like Tom pointed out, the driver reminds me of Sebulba from Star Wars, not original but still really awesome. I'd love to see what the RS-V12 and this look like together. To me they're very similar styles and approaches. I honestly like yours more though, maybe its the more modern parts, I dunno. I just love how you got all this clean looking detail in there. Truly an inspiring MOC Aaron.
